Data protection and security
gogo does not allow access to a user's phone without their permission. Information is only sent to the user's handset once they have accepted/opted in to receive content.
Data sent will always be clearly identified as content from the vendor and the system will not ask to pair with any device.
The system will never ask for access to content on the user's mobile handset.
Should there be a form sent out within an application, it will be transmitted using an encrypted page to ensure the data is secured, whether it is sent by Bluetooth, whilst in a Zone or by a GPRS connection if out of a Zone's radius.
The user will be asked if they want personal information in a form to be transmitted before any connection is made.
The gogo network is protected by multiple firewalls and has private addressing for all gogo units to ensure the security of the product. We utilise the latest SPI firewalls and constantly review our access control lists.
