Embrace - 2007 UK tour
Embrace are one of the UK's leading bands, famous for three number one albums and for doing the official 2006 England World Cup song - 'World at Your Feet'.
A series of high-impact posters told Embrace fans at concerts to turn their Bluetooth on, then gogo distributed a host of great information, updates and offers to fans in order to drive them to the band's merchandising stand.
The results were something to sing about with an amazing average of 75% of all mobile phone users at gigs with Bluetooth enabled accepting the information.
This fantastic result was achieved thanks to the combination of hard-working advertising and clever use of Location Based Technology.
With the help of gogo, sales of Embrace merchandise reached an all-time high. gogo also ensured that Embrace strengthened their fan base by offering wallpapers of the band free of charge, which once downloaded would remain as a permanent fixture on the mobile phone, until deleted by the user.
All in all, it was an amazing tour for the band and a great experience for Bluetooth marketing.
