gogo put Explore Kent on the map with an exciting competition which helped people enjoy the Kent countryside in the summer of 2007.
It was a 'big idea' in every sense as a county-wide treasure hunt was co-ordinated online through a fully interactive website with gogo as the key to unlocking the treasure chest at the end. All this was backed up by a direct mail teaser campaign, advertising, posters and PR to ensure everyone in the county was hunting out the grand prize.
gogo zones were installed at four key countryside locations across Kent from which they sent out vital clues in the form of animated images as to what to do next. They were also making everyone in the area aware of the campaign and directing them to the website for even greater response.
The campaign was a great success with a substantial amount of people entering the competition. Of the members of the public that interacted with gogo, 39% of them accepted content from the system, and all of them solved the clue and entered the prize draw. Which goes to prove that gogo is worth its weight in gold doubloons.
